Lifesaver
These insoles have been a lifesaver for my upper back pain! I was skeptical at first, but after a week of wearing them, I noticed a significant improvement. The added support and alignment have made a world of difference."
Great information
I am just now ordering my insoles for the first time and I am awaiting their arrival. I just finished the online training and the information was very worthwhile. I do practice functional neurology in my chiropractic office so the support and education from Posturepro is highly recommended.
Posture is improved
Love wearing the insoles
Great add on
Really helped with my neck pain
Instant effectiveness!
as soon as I slipped the soles into my barefoot shoes and put them on I immediately stood up taller and stronger and my feet were much stronger and stable. I am about to purchase more pairs for each of my barefoot shoes now that I am convinced!
HOW TO MEASURE?
- To measure your feet, stand on a level floor with the back of your heels against a straight edge or wall.
- Take the measurement (in centimeters CM) from the wall to the end of the longest toe (see image below). This is your foot length measurement.
- Selecting a shoe size: If your foot measurement is halfway between sizes, select the larger size.
HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT WIDTH?
The wide-width insoles are designed for those who use wide-width shoes ( e.g., Vivobarefoot or Xero Shoes).
If you use regular shoes, we recommend the standard width.
ENGAGE YOUR UPPER BACK
Many of us experience rounded shoulders, tight traps, or the occasional tension headache. Often our upper back feels weak as we tend to be hunched over our computers all day. To address these issues, you need to target the midfoot!
HOW YOUR MIDFOOT AFFECTS YOUR UPPER BACK
If the arches of your feet are poorly stimulated, then your receptors are missing vital information. This means your brain cannot orchestrate proper alignment in the lower extremity and pelvis.
When the midfoot is the source of the problem, we often see knocked knees and a protruding abdomen (anterior tilt). These dysfunctions elicit a series of problems in the upper extremity too! In particular, we experience rounded shoulders and forward head posture.
HOW DO THEY WORK?
The wedge technology stimulates the receptors in your midfoot as they respond to deep pressure and stretch.
- The signal from the skin of your feet travels to your brain through channels known as the ascending sensory pathways.
- This signal arrives in your sensory cortex, located in your parietal lobe.
- It is then transmitted to the motor cortex located in the frontal lobe. This is where your brain plans the execution of movement.
- The improved signal allows your brain to optimize knee alignment and encourage a neutral pelvis. This has a positive impact on the joints above!
